Well we finally decided to start a Blog. We have friends and family far away and I think this will be easier to keep updated than e-mailing. Not that I don't LOVE e-mail, but we are all busy and it is hard sometimes to keep up with everything.

Easter Egg Hunt
What Emily has been up to:
5-1-09: This past month Emily has been doing and saying so many new things. She loves to jump, in her crib, off the step stool, off the stairs, floor. Just about anything she can climb up to jump off of. It is scary to see her try and jump down the stairs. Of course, we are discouraging jumping down the stairs!
Todd is a huge UVA football fan. He has several shirts with the school name and/or logo. Emily will point to his shirt and say, 'football'. She sees baseball on ESPN and she says, 'baseball'. It is the cutest when she says 'basketball', it comes our 'basesball' without the k and t. I know she will grow out of it, but it is really cute right now.
When we go to the grocery store, I smell the strawberries before we buy any. I let Emily smell them also. One day we were at the store and I was looking for a good container of strawberries and she picked one up and started smelling it. She remembers things after only one time seeing or hearing it. It really makes me have to stop and think before I do or say anything. She will eventually be copying me!

Awesome!!!! I am so glad you have this up and going. I can't wait to see lots of pictures of Emily!!!
Man, is Emily a camera ham - all of them are fabulous pictures!! Looks like she will be an actress one day!
